Assessments

An initial assessment is the first step in our comprehensive strategy to help your child achieve a higher score on the respective standardized tests. Our child assessments are conducted by licensed psychologists and/or learning specialists with advanced degrees--not by our tutors. We evaluate where your child is, with respect to his/her peers, across a variety of activities using our own criterion referenced instruments in addition to various instruments created and researched by companies like Pearson.

Our evaluators will give you feedback on the strengths and weaknesses of your child, and create a tailored program for your child based on the specific tests that she/he is preparing for. This process includes an interview with the parent(s), as well as an evaluation of your child. Administration time of the child assessment is approximately one hour.
