Bige Doruk, CEO and Founder

Ms. Doruk is a highly experienced professional with core competencies that span strategic business development, management consulting, product development and engineering. As a senior manager at McKinsey & Company and associate partner at Helios Consulting, she focused on developing new business strategies for a wide cross section of Fortune 500 companies. She was formerly the CEO of Gaia Power Technologies, which was sold in 2008 to an investor and prior to that ran her own consulting business. Bige holds an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M Energy Center and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Bige's passion for education comes from her parents who have dedicated their lives to educating young children. Bige started Bright Kids NYC to create a more professional tutoring service for young children that focused on creating the right materials and processes and training teachers to create results for young children.
